CHELMSFORD, UK – Selective soldering firm Pillarhouse reported 2016 sales in the far east are at an all-time high. 

Across the region sales are up 35% compared to 2015, with the Chinese market increasing 30%; Japan 42%; Korea 20%; Singapore 32% and Taiwan 60%.

"The far east is proving to be a very good market for the Pillarhouse organization," said Nigel Monk, managing director. "Whilst Pillarhouse has always been strong in the region, the increase in sales means the far east now generates 40% of our worldwide sales."

Over the last few years, Pillarhouse has concentrated on sales in the Suzhou region. Since 2014, Pillarhouse Soldering Systems (Suzhou) sales have increased in excess of 80%. Pillarhouse Soldering Systems (Suzhou) has opened an additional Sales/service center to provide local support in the Guangdong Province.
