Yamaha Releases Σ-G5S II Modular Mounter
Σ-G5S II surface mounter placement machine has a new head design, improved PCB feeding sequence, enlarged internal buffer size for feeding larger PCBs and placement speed of 90,000cph (under optimum conditions).
Retains all the features of Σ-G5S , including the high-speed high-accuracy rotary direct-drive head, the overdrive motion for highly efficient production by picking up components from either the front or rear feeder on the machine, and the Super Loading (SL) feeder that facilitates splicing-less component supply, with 20% faster placement speed. Extends detection range of components held by mounter to immediately before placement. Improved balance for beam motors to bolster stability, lower internal temperature by improving cooling performance, extending service life of important components like the high-speed multi-purpose head.
